Integrative Medicine
Plastic surgery has made incredible technological advances in the past 20 years, leading to improved results, safer surgeries, and easier recoveries. In order to take wound healing and recovery to an even higher level, we believe there has to be an integration of the traditional Western medical practice with complementary and alternative therapies from other perspectives.
We have assembled a team in our Santa Fe office that works with patients before and after surgery, providing holistic therapies with three goals:
-to improve patient comfort, both preoperatively and postoperatively
-to minimize postoperative swelling and bruising
-to teach patients how to incorporate healthy practices of proper nutrition, stress reduction, and self-awareness.
We call it the Whole Being Plan.
